What is My Story?
My journey into hospitality first started in 1995 as a Food & Beverage Assistant at the beautiful Bridgewood Manor hotel in Kent, now part of the Qhotels family.
But with the world of hospitality was an intriguing allure, and so the next progression took me to the famous Brands Hatch racing circuit, where I dipped my toes into the industry.
Conference and events have long been my passion, and with a growing skill set from high speed hospitality, I moved to Ashford International Hotel to managing bookings for the venue’s 18 meeting rooms as Conference and Events Co-ordinator.
Moving on, I enjoyed being Sales Manager at the prestigious Addington Palace in Croydon for three years, which gave me fantastic exposure to organising both weddings and conferences, and even managing the venue as a filming location.
In 2008 I began my career with Hilton Worldwide. Being a part of the world leaders in hospitality gave me the most fantastic experience of property hotel sales as well as the ability to build long lasting relationships with my clients.
This year, almost 10 years on, I was lucky enough to fulfil one of my career goals by overseeing a new opening of Hever Hotel and really getting back to basics with the day-to-day running of hotel spaces.
So after all these great roles, I like to think I have a keen knowledge of hotel and venue industry! Onwards and upwards.
